Synchrosmoke

For many modellers adding smoke generators is desirable but so far the existing range for O guge was rather unrealistic. Besides sound reproduced by the LokSound XL decoders, the exhaust smoke synchronous with the exhaust chuffs are more representative. Prototype diesel locomotives also make their presence known by clearly visible exhaust fumes.

Integral electronics control both the fan and the heating system of the smoke generator. Also included is a temperature sensor to control the amount of smoke and is independent of the track voltage. We have also made sure that nothing will burn if the tank is empty.

The amount of smoke and the revs of the fan can be determined by the LokSound XL V4.0 decoder. Of course both steam smoke plumes as well as typical diesel exhaust plumes can be realised. The steam exhaust plumes are determined by the LokSound XL decoder.

The sound project and smoke unit can be fitted to existing Loksound XLV5 equipped locos, however it has special commands which need a re-blow of the project so this service is more expensive.
